- The ALT Newsletter, sent out by the Secretary Treasurer, appears at least two times a year. The Newsletter is published on the LINGTYP discussion list and archived at the LINGUIST List mailling lists site. Past issues of the newsletter can be accessed via the search function of the archive. Type News in the general search field.
- ALT has
a mailing list, LINGTYP, where issues pertinent to linguistic typology
and the activities of the association are discussed
- You have to subscribe in order to post to the list. New members of ALT are added to the list automatically.
- To unsubscribe from LINGTYP, send a message to LISTSERV at LISTSERV.LINGUISTLIST.ORG with the following text in the body of the message

for instance
